I’m SO excited to have been invited to participate in this show, themed after one of the most unique bands to have inspired my generation, The Pixies. As so many visual artists like myself utilize music to stay motivated and accompanied during the many solitary hours in our studios, it only makes sense to pay homage to the bands that keep us cranking out the work from our souls. There are so many amazing artists in this show, and it’s such an honor to exhibit alongside them all. Thank you to Kevin Titzer, who curated this exhibition, Andrew Hosner of Thinkspace, who introduced me to Kevin, and of course, the Pixies. My work, featured on the postcard, is inspired by the song, La La Love You, my very favorite. I can’t wait to see all of the works that have manifested from this simple, yet powerful theme. See you in Venice!

I’m stoked to announce that I’ll be participating in the 2011 Culver City Art Walk through Thinkspace Gallery! This is a huge event in Culver City and a great opportunity to show some of my newest pieces alongside my 10′x10′ installation “A Star is a Seed”. Finally finished! My assistant and I have been working like crazy composing this book for my agent, and it’s finally complete! There are 122 pages featuring large, full color images of my available, collected and selected early works as well as my statement, CV and bio.
